Unfinished Songs and Pictures
Mirror Field studio, 120 Wagonga Street, Narooma
5 - 7 June 2026

Unfinished Songs and Pictures is the closing event for Mirror Field, a three-month experimental studio investigation supported by Create NSW and the Regional Arts Fund. The title takes inspiration from the name of Yoko Ono's 1966 exhibition at Indica Gallery, London.

Field Notes #1–3, studio documentation, and works from the Mirror Field investigation are exhibited alongside a corridor installation including a large format framed photograph from Flowering and Blue Abyss, guitar and amplifier — movement through the space activating feedback as sound.

A public conversation between Natasha Dusenjko, Liberty (E.B. Kerr), and curator and writer Liz McCrystal explores creative process, experimentation, and improvisation across photography, writing, and music. A performance by Natasha and Liberty closes the event.

The Mirror Field library — books, zines, ephemera, and community contributions exploring experimental art, sound, and publication — is available for browsing throughout.
